Ellie Kagan, CRNP, CDCES
Ellie Kagan is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.
From 2008 to 2021, she was a member of the outpatient endocrine clinical practice at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, an affiliate of both Johns Hopkins Hospital and the University of Maryland Medical Center.
Ellie is a certified insulin pump trainer for Tandem, Insulet, Beta Bionics, and Medtronic, as well as a certified Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) trainer for Dexcom. Recognizing the need for more personalized diabetes education, she founded Diabetes Education Solutions in 2021 a private coaching and consulting practice dedicated to empowering individuals living with type 1 diabetes.
Ellie served as Medical Director of Camp Bru in the summer of 2024 and is thrilled to be returning this summer.
